A butte in the distance. You can see this as you head out of Sedona by car.
A glimpse of the submarine.
Further along, I was able to take a better shot of the submarine.
Twin domes.
Lunch view. The sky was starting to darken at this point, but still no rain.
Hikers need to eat lunch.
Chicken point. You can sort of see the pink jeep heading toward the structure.
Chicken point closeup. As you can see, the pink jeep tours like to circle around this structure.
Soon the rain started coming down. We had a good hike, so the rain didn't confront us.
