The mining claim signs in this area say the same thing: no digging, no nothing.
There are ruins of stone cabins scattered around the area; none have roofs.
Kern, Susy, and Dave consider the ruin.
Dave and Susy consider the scenery, and the way to get to the Black Canyon trail.
For awhile we were on the actual trail, but we lost sight of the trail markers and
decided to follow a dry stream bed. The bluish/gray rock is shale and is very
smooth in some areas.
Did I say that the stream was dry? There are pools remaining.
