back to Mint Wash

Wash
Mint Wash is trail marker 345. We had about two inches of snow on the ground by the time we started out, and it didn't let up for 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. Soon the land was covered in white. Once the snow let up, I started snapping photos.

Snowy trees
The trees were beautifully covered in heavy, wet snow.

Snowy trees
The snow on the trail is fairly forgiving. We were the only ones out this way.

Granite peak
A granite peak pops out of the distance. The bright snow adds high contrast to the terrain.

Hikers approaching
Arlene and Cathy approach on the snowy trail.

Snowy trail
Everywhere you look it is white.
