back to 2006 Big Bend National Park

Heading toward the trailhead into Santa Elena Canyon, I found these yellow flowers.

And this lone purple flower was quite beautiful.

As the canoe approached, I took a maximum zoom shot. Since I didn't have a tripod, there was a little blurriness. Only looking at the picture afterward did I realize that the two humans in the middle where children.
