back to 2006 Big Bend National Park
Continuing our adventure, we stopped at Tuff Canyon. In the distance you can see Santa Elena Canyon just
above and past that mountain.

A zoom shot of that same mountain and Santa Elena Canyon.
I was feeling a little saucy, so I climbed down the tricky ledge. I took this
shot of the rest of the group from below.
This is Tuff Canyon. I did a quick survey then suggested that people come
down to take a look.
The cliff walls of Tuff Canyon are simply delicious to me. Thinking of
the torrential waters that must have flown through these walls gives
me goose bumps.
In a rock crevice up above was a bees nest with honey combs in interesting shapes.
This shot was taken on maximum zoom.
John T. and Alisha climb up to some holes in the wall. It wasn't much of a
cave, but hey.
