back to 2006 Big Bend National Park

Texas Bluebonnets are one of Amanda's favorite flowers. She heard that there may be Texas Bluebonnets up to five feet tall in Big Bend. We didn't see any that size, but this bunch was worthy of attention.

Alisha took her shoes off to wade in the Rio Grande.

Tina got her hair wet to cool off.

Along the path to the hot springs are these pictographs on the side of a cliff.

There are also mud nest for birds. I am guessing swallows.

Next day, I took a few pictures of our camp. Here Alisha tidies her tent. John T.'s tent is behind.
