Alisha bear moutain lion sign
We had seen this sign on the way into the Chisos Mountains. Alisha wanted very much to have her picture taken next to it, so, on the way back out, we made a point to stop. Alisha wouldn't be much of a match for a mountain lion.

Tina big bend sign
Next day, we did the total tourist thing by taking photos next to the Big Bend sign. This was evidence, this was proof, this was truth. Tina smiles with the Big Bend sign behind.

Sign group shot
The legendary and infamous group shot: John T., Amanda, Tina, Alisha, Tone.

Sandstone ridge
Reaching the trailhead for the Tinajas, we saw a sandstone ridge.

Amanda camera
Amanda with her camera. Amanda's camera takes very good pictures which she shared them with me.

Yucca
I liked the shape of this yucca.

Alisha layers
Alisha poses on a rock with interesting rock layers as a background.

Ernst group shot
I set a long rock on end to create a platform for my camera. We must have group shots. This shot was taken on the way to Ernst Tinaja.

Key stock bird
You always find the most interesting things while hiking. First I found a rock that looked like keystock. Then I found a headless bird. Like chocolate and peanut butter, they go well together.
