back to 2006 Big Bend National Park
We had seen this sign on the way into the Chisos Mountains. Alisha wanted very much to have her picture taken
next to it, so, on the way back out, we made a point to stop. Alisha wouldn't be much of a match for a mountain lion.
Next day, we did the total tourist thing by taking photos next to the Big Bend sign. This
was evidence, this was proof, this was truth. Tina smiles with the Big Bend sign behind.
The legendary and infamous group shot: John T., Amanda, Tina, Alisha, Tone.
Reaching the trailhead for the Tinajas, we saw a sandstone ridge.
Amanda with her camera. Amanda's camera takes very good pictures which
she shared them with me.
I liked the shape of this yucca.
Alisha poses on a rock with interesting rock layers as a background.
I set a long rock on end to create a platform for my camera. We
must have group shots. This shot was taken on the way to Ernst Tinaja.
You always find the most interesting things while hiking. First I found a rock that looked
like keystock. Then I found a headless bird. Like chocolate and peanut butter, they go well together.
