There are spots in the river that hold some water. These fish find a pocket in the shallows.

Mark stopped at the San Antonio Harley-Davidson shop to look at T-Shirts.

That night we stayed in San Antonio at the Market Square La Quinta. This hotel was considerably cheaper than those off the River Walk because it is off the beaten path. Who wants to pay high prices to be next to a drained river? We dined at a Mexican restaurant near the hotel.

Next morning, Mark and Dick share the sink. We wanted to head south to see what we could see.

Driving toward Corpus Christie, we saw a refinery.

Mark outside the Texas State Aquarium.

A fish aquarium. I played with a few options to take pictures indoors in the dark. This one wasn't too bad.

Another fish aquarium. If the fish move, they blur.

Alligators.
