Tibetan bell
A Tibetan bell with letters/symbols in both Tibetan and Chinese.

Blood drums
Hourglass-shaped hand drums.

Popular throughout New Guinea, New Britain and southern New Ireland. In dances and processions, a drummer used one hand to carry the drum by its handle, and the other to beat out a rhythm.

The drum's head was made of snake, lizard or kangaroo skin. It was often glued on with blood—that of either the owner or a homicide victim. A man tightened the drumhead by heating it over a fire; he tuned his drum by sticking on small balls of pitch or vegetable gum.
