Hiking along, I saw this hillside house. A beautiful house, no neighbors, and near a National Park. What could be better?

Mistletoe.

A canyon shot. We would be at that saddle in a few hours.

I took a shot of this agave with my boot for perspective. Or, did I take a picture of my boot with the agave for perspective?

Julie drinking water. Julie wasn't feeling the best, but she hikes well and doesn't whine too much.

Julie holds a shell.

I grabbed hold of an agave chute that was lying on the ground. It had a little barb that dug into the fleshy part of my hand. It wouldn't let go!

Finally, I get the agave shoot airborne.

This is the first waterfall.
