back to 2005 Colorado
The first night we stopped at a campground in Nebraska. I forget the name of the
campground now, but it had a power plant across the lake.
This is the Coleman tent we used. It wasn't too hard to put up and take down.
Next morning, Jason brushes his teeth next to his truck.
Tone stands next to a rainbow.
On the road again, we encounter the first sign of mountains.
Living in Nebraska, you don't see mountains very often. I took another shot as they became more visible.
We tried two campgrounds then were committed to turn back and try the other side of the park if
Glacier Basin campground had no vacancy. Luck was with us; we got the last spot because someone
cancelled.
After setting up the tent, we went for a short hike. We saw a snake on the path.
