The diving board is broken. Concrete without support isn't the best way to make a diving board.

Golden dragonflies abound on the far side of the pond.
David, who has studied at the Desert Studies Center, takes us for a little hike up and above.

There is a campground for RVs nearby.
A dust devil on Soda Lake. The wind can be fierce in the desert.
Next we headed to Baker to get gasoline. David talked to the ranger at the visitor
center who told him there were a few things of interest North of Baker. We headed
in that direction to take a look.
Tim investigates the orange parasite: dodder. Tina said that an area of Murreita, when she returned from her trip, was
ravaged with this orange nasty.
We stopped at the Salt Creek Hills.
