This hole, near the entrance, has all sorts of debris. Apparently some critter lives inside. Perhaps it
is a mouse or a bad—I cannot say.
Outside of this lava tube, we walked a bit further to another hole. This is an entrace to another lava tube.
I scootched inside, but stopped where I would have had to crawl on my belly. One day, perhaps, I will
go inside.
This is the only yucca blossom I saw the entire trip.
An old truck! Tina took a lot of photographs of rusty stuff in the desert.

That evening, we head into Baker. Tina stands in front of the infamous thermometer. As you can see, it is pretty cool
in the desert this night. Dinner was at Bun Boy—thanks Tina!
We head back to camp, but due to increasing wind, we didn't have a fire. Just as well as my allergies kicked into
high gear, and I fell asleep rather quickly.
The next morning, Joe wanted to show Bill the lava tube. Since they wanted to see Aiken Mine afterward,
we decided to tag along. The lava tube is in an area of cinder cones shown in this picture.
