After Mike, Andi, and the boys headed back to Hole-in-the-Wall campground, David, Tina, and I went to
the lava tube. The picture shows the hillside just past the lava tube that has many black lava rocks.
A nice beaver tail cactus with flowers.
Tina fixes a shot.
Then takes the shot.
We head down into the lava tube. The ladder is really not a ladder. Not exactly sure of
its original purpose. Maybe attached to a train signal.
David brought his lantern into the tube and placed it where you need to duck.
A few openings provide a nice sky light.
David stands in a stream of sunlight from one of the holes in the lava tube.
This is the lava tube hole that caused the sunlight on David's face.
