Interesting grooves
Interesting grooves in the sand. The black markings are the dust of magnetite and amphibole which are heavier than the sand and so remain when the sand is otherwise blown away. One is magnetic, the other is not. Can you guess which is magnetic?

This bizarre bug started crawling toward David. It passed the point of no return, so David buried it.

Tina feet
Tina said the sand felt cool on her feet. I took off my boots, and sure enough, it was cool under the first few inches.
