We stopped in Rawlins on the night of the sixth, which was near the 130 bypass
to Laramie. Ascribing to the philosophy: "when you reach a fork in the road, take it," Julie
and I took the 130 to see Medicine Bow National Forest. We stopped at South Bush Creek
where we took a nice hike along the Slash Ridge Trail. Julie checks out a cabin.
The blue diamond showed the way. I remembered back to when blue diamonds were introduced to
Lucky Charms. Funny how little stuff like that remains in my head.
Eventually we happened upon a bride crossing South Brush Creek.

The weather was fine, and the Quaking Aspen did quake.
Proof that I was where I say.
Road into trees. It was really quite lovely traversing this higher altitude forest.
