We were taking a path to Shoal Falls. The map we used didn't give a
good indication of where we were, but eventually we happened upon it.
The hike turned out to be much longer than we expected.
We didn't actually go to the waterfall itself. We hit a wilderness boundary,
and seeing the falls was good enough. We headed back to take a dip in the
swimming pool.
On the way back, we stopped for dinner at Hernandez, a Mexican restaurant.
Terri spilled ice all over the table. Julie and I both ordered the same
thing: chimichangas. She didn't finish hers until . . .
. . . the next morning. You can't beat a chimichanga breakfast.
So it's Sunday morning and we decided to head to Yellowstone to see
some of the geysers. The weather was improving, so we were finally
able to see the Grand Tetons.
The Lewis River follows the road into Yellowstone.
And even provides falls.
