back to 2004 Wyoming
Saturday morning, Terri, Julie, and I headed to the Granite Hot Springs. It was about a twenty
minute drive down a dirt road. The CCC made the hot spring into a swimming pool. This was
the runoff of that pool.
Granite Hot Springs sign. They nick you $6 to swim in the pool. Terri thought
she knew the way to a free pool, and since it was quite early, we decided to
try to find it. We didn't find a free pool, and eventually came back to take
a dip in this one.

We headed down Granite Creek where eventually we happened upon a beaver dam.
As you can see, the weather this day wasn't perfect. Mountains peeked out
of the clouds sporadically.
