A closeup of a flower. It was still early in the season for an abundance of wildflowers.

But there were trees with flowers here and there.

The hiking gals ahead.

Eventually we reached ribbon falls. There is an alcove with very, very interesting flora and rock formations/features.

Ribbon falls. You can actually walk behind the waterfall, and even up to it. I went up there to soak my head, and it was really cold! I didn't bring a shirt or towel, so I stood there and shivered. Dan came up and went under the falls too. Colleen brought Paul, but only dunked her head.
