Catepillars in a huge nest. They will ravage the poor plant on which they are attached.
Leaky wall with colorful stains.
A throne in the distance. Terri and I eventually make it back to Cottonwood; John is
already there. The night starts off well, but it starts to rain. Karinn swears
as she finds shelter, her rock no longer an appropriate abode. My tent leaks
somewhat. Rain just plain sucks.
Next day we head from Cottonwood toward Phantom Ranch. Colleen, Dan, and Paul took off early. Karinn and Terri cross Wahl (Wall?) Creek.

Budding yucca. We eventually meet up with Colleen, Dan, and Paul at Phantom Ranch.
They decide to spend the night there rather than embrace the rain. We decide to
stick to the plan and head to Indian Gardens campground.
