Manzanita. Some of the manzanita had little blooms not quite blossomed.

Terri stands with a huge boulder finger behind her.

This dry fall has many layers.

Terri climbs up a bit, but soon realizes that the rock is brittle and not conducive for climbing.

Butterfly or moth or some such thing.

This rock looks like a striped shirt, or so says Terri.

That's the South Rim, and we even saw Mt. Humphries (although this shot doesn't show it well).

Tone stands next to some birch trees. I found it very interesting to see such different flora as I ascended to the North Rim.
