Alyssa suns herself upon a rock. She had her eyes closes as I prepared the shot, then I said "smile" so she would open her eyes.

As we headed up Borrego-Palm Canyon, we were apparently taking the "ALTERNATE ROUTE." The suggestion was made to cross-country to the other side. Coming down some rocks is Moonfire, Tarbubble, and MtFlyer.

Water in the desert? You bet! This is the creekbed we followed for the first several miles.
