back to Anza Borrego

I headed to Anza Borrego on the morning of Thursday, 2004 Jan 01, to celebrate the New Year. Group campsite #3, reserved specifically for the occasion, is 300 miles from my doorstep in Prescott, taking about five to six hours. After greeting people and setting up my tent, I was rewarded with this brilliant sky.

The sky glowed over Indianhead, the peak of choice for the morrow.

Friday morning, brilliant sunshine splashed against the hills in the distance.

The lively firepit of the preceding night seemed lonely and foresaken the next morning.

Indianhead beckons.

Rdlswalker and SierraGuy make meet the day with breakfast.
