This is a train that goes to the Grand Canyon, I think from Williams.
The Train. Round about this time, we were pretty saturated with the South Rim. The Grand
Canyon is so huge and complex that a person gets overwhelmed just trying to understand
it. It was getting time to head back for our Helicopter ride.
We had a bit of time to kill, so we stopped in yet another gift shop. Mark tries on
a hat. He looked good, in my opinion. As he himself said: I should have got that
hat.
While Mark & Dick were in the gift shop, I went to the Mc Donalds to use the
restroom. Someone was feeding huge black birds outside the restaurant.
We got to AirStar early enough. They said they wanted us there 1/2 hour early,
but we were there even earlier.
It was pretty cold at the South Rim, so it was sort of nice to relax at
the Air Star lobby while we waited for our tour. It was an early
morning, and I started takind Dramamine, so I was pretty well zonked.
