back to Arizona Extreme
Mark and Dick flew into Phoenix, picked up a rental car (Dodge Durango), then drove up
to my place in Prescott. Here is a picture of Mark parked in front of my garage.

vehicle; it was a rattle trap.

The taking of pictures was rather furious. Dick was taking a shot of Mark and me
while I took one of him.
. . . and this is the shot that I took of Dick above.
We adjourned to my apartment for a minute to decide what we wanted to do for the evening.
Mark sits awhile in my none-too-grandiose chair.
It was getting late, so we decided to take a drive to Thumb Butte, an icon of Prescott.
We parked a little further up the trail since the designated day area was closing in
15 minutes. We took a quick walk up a muddy trail to get some photos.
We set up a branch to hold our cameras to get a shot of the three of us.
