I borrowed Ling's bike for the ride. The tire wasn't in the best of shape,
but I chanced it. I hope Wedge gets this fixed before my next trip out
there.
Back again at the point from which we started. While loading the bikes and
saying good-byes, we saw a gopher come out of the Gopher Habitat.
The Gopher Habitat—I think—was a humorous sign to allow the slackers not to
cut their grass.
Technically speaking, the gopher didn't really come out. He was kicked out.
Rather than go back into its home, the gopher crosses the street.
The gopher finds a steep embankmant on the other side.
That night was deemed "Piggy Night." JD actually took off, but Wedge showed up.
Wedge was making drinks for Piggy Night. This is his own rum with a picture of
Hippi Wedge on the label.
We watched the movie "Mind Meld," which is surprisingly good, considering
it is two old guys talking.
JD came back from his dance, so we chatted around the kitchen table.
