back to 2004 Santa Barbara

I started the 17th by having breakfast with Lisa G. at Cajun Kitchen. Afterward, I brought JD to his dental appointment. I sent off my parents' Xmas present via FedEx, then had a few minutes to kill. I went up San Rocque and took some pictures. This is the reservoir.

As I was taking pictures, this reservoir dog came to have his picture taken.

I also took some pictures of the mountains.

And a lush hillside.

I picked up JD from his dental appointment, then dropped him on State Street where he was going to lunch with Shari. His car was mine. I decide to head to Hendry's Beach a.k.a. Arroyo Burro, but first stopped to take a picture of the first place I lived when I moved to Santa Barbara in 1997. 2112 Mountain Drive.

Arriving at Hendry's beach, I took a few pictures. This is the slough.

This is a cliff near Hendry's. I once saw a car nose first in the ground under this cliff. Someone had driven over the side. As I recall, it was a nice car, the key operative here being the word "was."
