On the way out, the "Islander" (our boat) stopped to view sea lions resting on a red buoy.
The boat ride was rather bouncy. Lisa and Maddy bear the motion by sitting inside.
Note the purple arrow.
The campsite is a good quarter to half mile from the landing. Jack and I
lugged several heavy bags to our destination. A short time later we had
tents up.
Maddy sits outside the pit toilet.
Our first hike was to see Cavern Point. The trailhead started near the
pit toilet at camp. The elevation gain was steep to start, then we
were faced with shear cliffs at the destination.
