Eight people braved a discouraging weather prediction to see some awesome features of the Mojave National Preserve—one of the newest and least used of all National Parks.

We saw some fascinating scenery, traversed areas only a 4WD could handle, and saw some great geological and historical features.

A turn of bad weather made for a less-than-enjoyable evening, but hey... you can't have everything.
