This is a pine cone—I think. I had hoped to see a Sequoia cone, but the
signs suggested these were numerous, but small. I think it said there were
91,000 seeds to the pound.
This is another fallen giant. The branches themselves are the diameter of
other trees.
The "tunnel tree" was a very popular destination. Apparently there was a
tourbus filled with Europeans.
The top of the "tunnel tree" was broken and charred.
People walk through the center of the tree.
Yet another Sequoia with a hollow center.
