The cost of living in Yuma is pretty low. These were some cookie-cutter homes, but look at the starting price!

I drove over this one lane bridge a few times in my attempt to reach a beach I saw from the I-8 overpass (which I never did quite find).

It gets quite hot during the day, so I decided to go for a swim. On the way to Mittry Lake is this government sluice gate.

Mittry Lake has a number of free campsites that lead you to the lake. It didn't really seem like a lake so much as a channel to a wilderness area.

Mittry Lake again. The green consists partly of reeds.

Mittry wilderness. My guess is that this area is under water at some times of the year.
