I figured I would do some camping as long as I was there. I called the BLM
and the lady suggested two spots: Fortuna Pond and Mittry Lake. I stayed
two nights at Fortuna Pond.
Fortuna Pond is a beacon of green in an otherwise dry, desolate land.
This is my first night's campsite.
There are fish in Fortuna Pond. I chatted with a guy named Joe who was
fishing the entire lake, but caught nothing.
There are mountains to the rear which means hiking, but not in
this weather. This is a picture taken to show the rosy glow
of the sunset, but my camera neglected to capture the rosy glow.
Another rosy glow-less shot.
