Lassen Volcanic National Park 2002

Summary
Lassen Volcanic National Park: September 2002

Lassen Volcanic National Park is chock full of geological formations, including a mountain over 10,000 feet, lavabeds, cinder cones, sulphur pools, and even snow in the heat of summer. Wedge suggested the peak to me some months ago, so I tried to coordinate the event with some other potential hikers. Although we never hooked up with Wedge, Tim and I had a great time checking out the geologically significant features and hiking around mountain lakes and forests.
