Summary
Mount Whitney: August 2002
Mount Whitney is the highest mountain in the continental United States. I suggested
this trip in January, procured a permit for six people in February, and
we finally did the hike in August. Mike G. and I acclimated in Onion Valley for
a few days beforehand which made the hike much easier. All six people who went
made it to the top.
