Joshua Tree National Park: November 2002

Joshua Tree National Park is in the desert; so, when it appeared as though Santa Barbara was due for rain, I tried to outrun it. I mostly met my goal, althought there were a few sprinkles in Joshua Tree.

The wind was pretty severe, so I left early; but I wanted to see the Salton Sea, so I took the long way home.

Trip mileage: 311 there; 326 back
