This was interesting. It appears as though wood was burned and embedded in this rock.

Over towards Soda Lake, the NPS site had an interesting rock wall.

The vegetation of this area is very different than the surrounding desert area, due to the oasis. This tree most probably requires too much water to be elsewhere in the desert.

This is the Zyzzx research retreat. We didn't see another human there.

This is the pond at the Soda Springs. There is an old fountain.
