Mojave National Preserve: December 2002

Looking through my map of National Parks, I came across the Mojave National Preserve. As I saw the volcanic features my interest grew. I contacted Tim who was up for a car-camping trip, and we were off.

The area, although a desert, was beautiful in its own way. We hiked, climbed rocks, spelunked, and froze our butts off. It rocked!
