Nachos With You At Our Place ---------------------------- ( Lyrics Copyright © 2000 Anthony J. Garot ) It's a new place – though we've been there before, The prior owners – gosh they must've gone poor. They had the biggest – avocado tree around, The avos were always – just a dropping to the ground. The new owners – they felt the need to make changes, The menu and the salsa – and the back rearranged! Cleaning my plate – was more than I could do... Nachos at our place – with me and with you. There’s more to this story – than will meet your eye, With all those avocados – just a dropping from the sky. The green salsa – it was nowhere to be found, A colossal mistake – for it was the best around. Just not the same – since the place was sold, A huge avocado tree – why, it’s as good as gold. But put them in the salsa – if you want to be true, Nachos at our place – with me and with you. It’s always a struggle – to find a place to eat, Some places are awful – some places a treat. When you find one you like – and they change it’s menu, Then it becomes time – to choose a different venue. Great salsa is enough – to keep me going back, Chips and salsa is a meal – and it’s also a snack. But when the salsa’s gone – my feeling turns blue, Nachos at our place – with me and with you.
