back to 2004 Halloween At Jason's
Jason's theme this year was Hawaiian.
Jason had a smoke machine behind this Hawaiian mask. He named the contraption
"Bo boo" after a religious icon in the movie "Major League."
Upon his front door was a Hula Girl.
Shimmering adorned the front entranceway. A tablecloth with Bo Boo's image was used to screen
the rest of the house.
Jason did a little creative woodwork to assemble his plastic forest. None of the wood joists
were actually nailed into the walls . . . except one into the ceiling. Pretty impressive
structure considering that Jason doesn't have use of his thumb due to a recent
car accident.
(See Jason's thumb)
Round about 8:00pm, the trick-or-treaters stopped coming. Jason, Julie, and I walked
around the neighborhood in search of the elusive "Haunted Garage." Unfortunately,
we were too late. We did see a few fun things, like this South Park lawn decor.
A big spider and a dead witch—I think. This house went insane with Halloween decorations.
This place had elaborately carved pumpkins.
It must have taken some time to do this. Note: a little rubbing alcohol would have taken the magic marker off.
