Omaha — Thanksgiving Adventure 2004
Summary
2004 Nov 26 — Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, 2004.
It was deemed too cold to go traveling, so Julie and I stayed local and went to:
- Saigon (Vietnamese) for lunch
- Walnut Creek Lake and Recreation Area
- Schramm Park State Recreation Area — located along the banks of the
Platte River 6 miles south of I-80 exit 432 or about 6 miles west of
the junction of NE 31 and NE 50. Home to the Nebraska Game and Parks
Commission's Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium

- Springfield Drug Soda Shop — Springfield, Nebraska

I didn't realize Nebraska had this much to do within 45 minutes of Omaha.
