Marker 40 points the way to some interesting looking hiking. I will need to explore this at a later date.
Wind marks from what appears to be a fragile plant.
Budding cactus. Is this a cholla?
After about a half hour of hiking, you reach a high point that overlooks a valley.
As you can see by the clouds, the weather is still a bit ominous.
Wind marks from a wee sized twig.
