2005 Maple Run

Summary

2005 Nov 21st

When I was at Bracken Cave, I told Kate about my idea to do a photo tour of Maple Run since it had so many more formations than does Whirlpool. Kate told me that she might be interested, so I started making plans to do the trip.

I was still pretty wet behind the ears with caving, and since I had only done Maple Run twice before (getting lost once!), I wanted to make sure to have at least three people.

I garnered a lot of interest for the trip, but attrition is always high on these events, so the first attempt crashed and burned.

The next attempt, I got Kate and Stacy to join me. Cool. This means we could go.

We didn't make it to the "Garden Of Earthly Delights" that night, but I did take seventy-five pictures. I have whittled down the count to those that turned out and are at least somewhat interesting.
