Tone says: Use the right tool for the job. The total cost of the
project was about $300, including the purchase of this handy
skill saw.
This shows our first attempt for a foundation. We scrapped this idea
eventually. Note that Tone still has a fully functional right leg
because this is well before his Shasta incident.
Tone says: look ma, no brains! Note the orange power cord in the air so
as not to go into the lake. The floatation of the craft was made of
old logs found around the lake. This was a layover from previous
raft technology, and was the weakest link of this raft.
JD giving yet another nail the pounding of its life.
The raft is nearly complete at this point. JD and Tone show off
their achievement. Brutus on dock looks on. It may seem the major
fashion faux pas, but wearing socks was necessary to keep the small
gravel out of your shoes while in the water.
