  • Developed and tested the Auditory Research Sound Card (ARSC) API. This ANSI C API was designed specifically for synchronous auditory research projects. Duties included:
    • Tested and debugged existing MME/WDM code.
    • Encapsulated API code into a Windows DLL for use by other languages.
    • Created numerous examples to use above DLL in the following languages: ANSI C, MatLab (using 'Generic DLL Interface Functions'), C#, VB.Net, VB 6.0, VBA (Excel).
    • Integrated ASIO into API to bypass the Windows Mixer to remove latency issues.
  • Converted 1rst Order Otoreflectance (Ear Reflectance Measurement) modeling code from Borland Delphi to ANSI C for use in a "hand-held device" implementation.
  • Created the "Physical Acoustics Database Server — Web/database" application for archiving subject test data. Created automated scripts to move test data to secure location.
  • Converted data acquisition software from MME to ASIO using Borland Delphi, Delphi ASIO SDK, and OpenASIO v1.01.
  • Added WDM support to existing 24-bit application using WAVEFORMATEXTENSIBLE under Delphi.

  • Coded and implemented all VB/ASP features (lodging guide, keyword/directory search, dining reviews, etc.) for SantaBarbara.com, a web portal, that receives 210,000 unique visitors each month
  • Created a hotel club system for SantaBarbara.com that generates revenues of $10,000 per year
  • Designed and coded Visual Basic graphical interface to compiled MATLAB antenna modeling routines for an engineering research company
  • Assumed responsibility for an intranet Document Control system for engineering and manufacturing companies to archive and control Bills of Materials, schematics, software, and other documents
  • Created a Document Control system separate from the above listed. The system included data mining from existing Excel spreadsheet system, database architecture, creation of intranet browser interface, and creation of interface between schematics and the part system.

Software development using PowerBuilder on Sybase and Oracle databases.
